Hire gear (sleeping bag and inner liner, waterproof jacket and overpants) will be distributed on Friday 28th February, in Hike groups.

Please note that all hired gear will be collected from students at the end of the trip, before leaving the Outward Bound Base. It is important that all hired gear comes along on the trip and will be checked by staff before students get on the bus for departure.

As hiking packs are distributed at the Outward Bound base, students need to pack all their belongings in a soft (duffel or stripey) bag to transport to and from Outward Bound. There is no capacity to store hard luggage. Each student can have 1 x 20kg bag.

If a student is unwell and unable to attend the camp on Saturday, any hired gear taken home must be brought back into the school reception before 12 pm on Thursday, 7 March.
