Following a seamless transition to the Homestead, Year 5 is currently enjoying Camp at Wilsons Promontory. This experience aligns fabulously with our Unit of Inquiry, ‘Who We Are’, with our Central Idea: ‘Embracing change fosters growth and strengthens connections’. As well as allowing the students to build and consolidate strong friendships, camp is an opportunity to build independence, competence, resilience, and self-esteem.
“This camp has been an opportunity to build relationships, expand confidence and face our fears. Wilsons Prom is an amazing place to get stronger and grow more. Through camp, we have so many opportunities. I’m going to grow a lot.
We are so impressed with the way our Year 5 students have thrown themselves into all aspects of school camp!
