In the Foundation - Year 2 area, we have been happily settling into our new classrooms, getting to know new teachers and refamiliarising ourselves with the school routine. We have been so proud of how the children have come into their new learning spaces with independence and enthusiasm.
We would love your support in promoting the children’s agency by starting their school day independently. Encourage your child to carry in their own school bag, and be a risk-taker by saying goodbye at the learning lounge door.
The children have enjoyed reconnecting with new and old friends, whilst being principled and caring. A highlight has been getting back into inquiry in the mornings, working together across different ages, learning from one another and exploring together.
