Dear Minimbah families,
We take immense pride in our Year 6 students who have embraced the responsibility of being School Leaders. Today marks a significant milestone in their educational journey. As they embark on their final year of primary school, we are reminded of the incredible potential and endless possibilities that lie ahead.
During the 2025 Year 6 Badge and Leadership Assembly, I shared a story from the beautiful book, "Maybe" by Kobi Yamada. This story wonderfully captures the essence of leadership, self-discovery and the power each of us holds to achieve incredible things.
As our Year 6 students listened to the story, I hope they felt inspired by its message: anything is possible. This year, I encourage them to dream big, explore their talents and embrace the endless possibilities that await them.
Leadership is not just about leading others; it's about leading oneself. I urge our students to discover what they are passionate about and let that passion guide them. This is their year to shine. They should take risks, make mistakes and learn from them. Believing in themselves and their abilities is crucial, as they have the power to make a difference not only in their own lives but also in the lives of those around them.
We also recognise the invaluable support from their treasured friends and family. Your encouragement and belief in them play a crucial role in their journey. Together, we can make this final year of primary school the best one yet.
Dream big, Year 6, explore your talents, and remember that anything is possible.
