Year 8 Indonesian Excursion
It was a great opportunity to practise our Indonesian by asking what was in each meal and order what we wanted. We were also able to reflect on the flavour of food and whether we enjoyed eating it or not. Some of the options included tempe (fermented soy beans), rendang and sayur-sayuran (mixed vegetables). We all loved the side dishes as well which included krupuk and kentang goreng.
It was great to test our oral and verbal Indonesian and get to use our new vocabulary in a real-life situation. I hope we will have more opportunities like this in the future.
