Year 10 English
Beyond the contentious and caustic issues of racism and prejudice, The Australian Dream and To Kill A Mockingbird are both masterpieces when it comes to their resonant presentation of a fundamental quality: empathy. In order to fully understand, analyse, and grow as a result of these texts, we must explore this essential human trait in all its simplicity and complexity.
Year 10 English recently completed a task as part of our comparative study unit which involved them creating a work of art that represents the experience, strength, and struggles of empathy. We had some amazing pieces and thought they deserved to be shared with the Woodleigh community.
