We realise that the shift back into remote learning is another problematic transition in what has already been an incredibly challenging year. We wanted to remind our students that we are all quite prepared for this and had prepared for this possibility.
The work that we all did upon our return near the end of Term 2 enabled us to lay some solid foundations to help support each other as we adapt to this latest change. We all must continue to maintain as much contact and connection as possible – this will very much be a focus from a Senior Homestead perspective. The VCAA has made some additional changes to their external assessments with the GAT rescheduled to Wednesday, October 7. We will continue to be as agile and flexible as possible as we navigate the coming weeks. In terms of directing your queries:
- Subject-specific concerns – contact the appropriate subject teacher
- General/other concerns – contact Tutors
- Wellbeing Contacts – Donna Nairn (Director of Counselling)
- Haydn Flanagan, Sam Lewis, and Bryn Bowen are all available for broader questions and concerns
A recording of the information session we had with families on Tuesday 4 August is available to view below, and also on the Continuous Learning Website.
