Golf Links Road Upgrade

Ongoing site investigations from Late June to November 2021

As part of the Golf Links Road Upgrade, we’ll upgrade the six-way roundabout, add safety barriers and resurface Golf Links Road and Grant Road.

What we’re doing and when

The Golf Links Road Upgrade team will be resuming services and ground condition investigations from late June to November 2021.

This work informs the detailed design and ensures we identify and protect underground utility services before commencing major construction in late 2021. You’ll see our crews undertaking investigations along Golf Links Road and Grant Road.

We’ll work Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm, and on Saturdays between 7am and 1pm, subject to weather conditions. If night works are required, we’ll provide advance notice to residents and businesses who may be affected.

What do the works involve?

This work involves:

  • small crews using scanning equipment to locate underground utility services
  • digging small holes to take soil samples
  • backfilling the holes and compacting the road surface once the investigation is complete.

What this means for you

Temporary lane closures and reduced speed limits will be in place while we work. Expect minor traffic delays and allow extra time for your journey. Please follow traffic controllers’ instructions.
