Communication with School and Staff
One of the key contributing factors to the success of a child’s education is open communication between parents, teachers and school administration. At Minimbah, we take pride in being open, caring and educationally focused, with a strong desire to build effective and supportive relationships with our parents.
We ask that when communicating with teachers, you consider the appropriateness of the timing of your communication whether it be verbal or through email. If an issue arises, it is always best to find a mutually agreeable time to discuss your concerns with your child’s class teacher or another appropriate staff member. It is also helpful to provide prior notice to each party involved to ensure all relevant details can be addressed. Just before classes commence at the beginning, or even during the day (in the case of specialist lessons), is not the best time for these meetings. Please understand if a staff member is unable to speak with you due to teaching commitments you will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Please ensure email communication is conducted within normal school hours and be realistic, considerate and understanding of work demands and family life, as our staff, in turn, will be considerate in their communication with you. We will endeavour to respond to your communication within 48 hours.
