Adventurous Minds are Educated Here

As a school, our mission is simple, direct and clear – The purposeful development of creative, compassionate, skilful, and resilient young people who can thrive in an ever-changing world.

Learning to Thrive describes Woodleigh's commitment to delivering an education that equips young people with the knowledge, skills, capabilities, confidence, and purpose they require to shape their future. It is an intentional plan to develop a dynamic learning community where young people can learn to thrive at and beyond school.

We focus on enabling our students to find success, build compassionate relationships, and make positive contributions to the communities in which they live and work.

At Woodleigh, we educate students' Heart, Head and Hands. We cultivate the learning of young people who can apply their knowledge to solve real-world challenges and make a difference in the lives of others. Our approach emphasises learning by doing, through immersive, applied experiences, and learning by caring, through social-emotional development, the promotion of positive relationships, and active engagement as responsible citizens.

In a world where change is a constant, a Woodleigh education is more relevant than ever. I invite you to visit our beautiful campuses and experience first-hand the difference that a Woodleigh education offers.

Woodleigh operates direct bus services to all areas of the Peninsula, Frankston, Patterson Lakes and Sandhurst, with direct buses from Frankston Station serving students from the bayside area.

Discover more about Woodleigh by meeting our Principal.

Regular Information Sessions are presented by our Principal, David Baker. They give a broad understanding of the ethos and philosophies of Woodleigh School, including information about our Academic Curriculum, Sport, The Arts, Camps and Activities Programs, and exchange opportunities. These sessions offer an invaluable insight into life at Woodleigh, both in the primary and secondary years. Evenings conclude with a Q&A session, providing parents with the opportunity to ask any questions they may have.

Please book your place at an Information Session by filling out the form below.

We also offer regular group tours of the Minimbah, Penbank and Senior Campuses. Click here to book a Campus Tour.
