Welcome (back) Tom Angelico

I’m very excited to announce that Tom Angelico has joined the Woodleigh Sport team in a full-time role. Tom (a former Woodleigh student – class of 2015) recently completed his studies at Monash University, where he majored in Sport Management.

Since finishing school at Woodleigh, Tom has emersed himself in community sport on the Mornington Peninsula. He’s been the Junior Coordinator at Mt Martha Cricket Club since 2016, and he’s currently coaching juniors at Mt Martha Soccer Club (including some current Woodleigh students). Tom coordinated Woodleigh’s HPV program across 2016-2019 – a time that the school achieved some outstanding results. He is passionate about female participation in sport and has coached the Mt Martha Women’s Cricket team, Peninsula Grammar’s inaugural Girls’ Cricket team. He is currently Head Coach of the Under 15 South East Country Sharks, who compete in the Youth Premier League. Tom understands the power of sport and is excited to return to Woodleigh and work with our students, helping them thrive at their chosen sports.

Tom has taken over the role of Woodleigh Basketball Coordinator. During Term 3, he will be coaching the SIS Junior Girls Indoor Cricket team and SIS Intermediate Girls Soccer team. He will be involved with the preparation of our SIS Athletics team whilst getting across all of the many sporting opportunities that we offer students at Woodleigh. A great addition to our program.
