Another Term done!

Sincere thanks once again for your support with our continuous learning plan. We know that this is a different way of teaching and learning for both students and teachers. I don’t think any of us would have believed that we would still be in remote learning until the end of Term 3.

Some of the submissions from Friday's Arts Extravaganza!

I am so proud of the students’ efforts and dedication in continuing their schoolwork during this most recent lockdown. I’m sure that we are all awaiting the forthcoming roadmap, outlining our way out of lockdown. My wish is, we will be back at school in the not-too-distant future.

I know you join me in thanking our Minimbah staff for their efforts this term. Whether working at school with our essential worker group or working remotely from home, all staff have given their utmost to the children’s learning and engagement with the CLP. I wish them all a most relaxing break.

I will be back in touch to update you on what school will look like as soon as the guidelines are provided to us.

Staffing News

We wish Mrs Liane Clements all the best as she takes some well-deserved Long Service Leave throughout Term 4. Liane will use the time to support her daughter, Bethany, through the pointy end of Year 12 and then hopefully take a few trips further afield than 5 km from her home.

Mrs Lisa Rix will take on the role of classroom teacher of Year 1 during Liane’s Leave.

With Lisa moving back to full-time classroom duties, Mrs Sandy Liddiard will join the Inclusion Team and support the Year 1 and 2 Discovery Day Program. Sandy comes to us from Seaford North Primary School, where she has worked within their Inclusion Department. Sandy’s experience and enthusiasm will make her a welcome addition to our Team.

I am pleased to confirm Mr John Beckley has taken on the role of Junior Primary Music Classroom Teacher after Ms Prudence Patullo could not continue in her position due to health concerns. John has been working with our music classes in recent times, and the children have been enjoying his expertise and passion for music teaching.

Happy Holidays Finally, I wish you all happy holidays. We are so fortunate to live and play on the Peninsula, and hopefully, as the weather continues to warm up, we can venture further, gather in groups, catch up with family and enjoy the break even more.

See you all on Tuesday 4 October!
