On Friday, 25th October, we held the Woodleigh Kitchen Rules evening for the Year 10 Food Studies program. Each student in the class invited two guests to join a themed dining experience. The students prepare an entrée, main and dessert. They work collaboratively in teams and this semester, with themes ranging from Indigenous Ingredients to Gordon Ramsay. The parents provided some very positive feedback and thoroughly enjoyed their dining experience. The knowledge and skill development focused on responding to a design brief, creating menu options, trialling recipes, producing the food, setting tables and food service. A great night was had by all.
