Eat Up is Australia’s only organisation providing free lunches to children in schools nationally. The final 2024 Eat Up session at Woodleigh was this week and the kitchen was buzzing with activity, making over 1000 cheese sandwiches within an hour. This program has been very successful for many years at Woodleigh School and the local schools who receive the sandwiches are very appreciative of the support that is provided through this fabulous initiative. This week we acknowledged the valuable contribution that Stuart Jefferies has made, as the parent coordinator of the program for many years. He has now handed over this role to Linda Crittenden. We thank Stuart for the generosity of his time, his positivity and excellent organisational skills in assisting the huge success of this program.
