Business Studies – Lila McDonagh and Lyla Perkin
During Semester 1, Business Studies students have been drafting a business plan for their final assessment.
Peter Fox will be a business which brings together small and emerging designers from around Melbourne. The business will generate an income from the sale of clothing and jewellery.
After establishing the business and getting ‘Peter Fox’ brand recognition through market stalls, the goal is to rent or buy a retail space in Mornington. This space will allow a team of passionate employees and designers to have regular contact with our clientele and our partnership artists. Peter Fox would maintain a presence in the Mornington Peninsula market scene indefinitely, so to continue to build brand awareness and community contacts. The brand would be targeted towards teenagers to people in their early 30’s. This target market would be looking for something middle range in terms of quality, moderate pricing and modern and adapting style, which is what Peter Fox would aim to offer. Our designers will be handpicked and each have to meet a criteria to work with us that includes:
- Quality products
- Unique designs
- Adequate size range
- Consistent availability and supply
- Moderate pricing
