Woodleigh Junior Campus provides an education for girls and boys from Early Childhood to Year 6. The curriculum is designed not only to provide the means to find vocational satisfaction, but also to give meaning to the lives of young people. We seek to provide an environment where students are stimulated and challenged and where education can be a joy.

A vital and unique feature of the school is the positive and supportive relationships between students, staff and parents. All students are valued equally and all are given equal opportunities to develop their skills and abilities in all facets of school life with equal access to all staff, facilities and equipment. We are acutely aware there are individual differences between students and we strive to cater for such differences. We have a continuity of curriculum right through the School. Transition from year to year is carefully provided for and nowhere is this more important than at Prep to Grade 6.

We encourage the development of personal fitness as a state of physical, mental and emotional good health. We believe that our approach to education, whilst enabling students to become more academically able by fostering their motivation and commitment to formal studies, encourages them to be more aware of what is happening in the world around them and helps them to develop the ability to make informed, rational decisions. We provide an appropriately structured environment within which students can discover their own talents whilst receiving encouragement and support from their teachers.
